about me
A lot of people ask me how I landed in cybersecurity after a decade in television newsrooms.
Well, I became a mom.
Let me explain.
We’ve never needed security more than right now. From CTV to smart phones, AI chat bots and social media—we’ve never had so much data available. Yet, how we safeguard that information is a conversation few regular people are having.
Especially parents, who need to be in the know the most. Navigating what’s safe online or deciding whether to post your child at all can be overwhelming.
Those are the everyday questions I answer with Julienne’s Journal. But my drive to make complex topics accessible extends beyond the home. As a full-stack MarComms professional, I apply my news producer instincts to the tech industry—helping organizations translate dense, technical concepts into clear, impactful stories. If you want to meet your audience where they are and strengthen your cyber brand, we should work together!
When I’m not writing here or on LinkedIn, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Cybersecurity at Johns Hopkins University and raising funds to support ACE students.
